Founded in 1911, Holbrook Lumber Company is a distributor of high quality lumber & building materials to independent retail lumberyards throughout the northeast. Based in Albany, NY, Holbrook operates a sales center along with a pressure treating manufacturing plant and warehouse distribution center. We also distribute truckload quantities of dimensional lumber from our New London, CT port operation. Holbrook Lumber prides itself in servicing customers throughout New England, New York and New Jersey. People - Our Biggest AssetAt Holbrook Lumber we believe our greatest advantage is in the quality of people that choose to work here and how long they have remained! We strive to hire the best the industry has to offer in all areas and keep them here by providing opportunities for personal and professional growth. John Rich our Treatment Plant Manager has been with us for over 40 years. Mike Negus who heads the Purchasing Dept. is a 39 year veteran. Jim White has been with Holbrook Lumber for 32 years and has spent 21 of those years calling on our customers as an outside sales rep. John Bestafka, our Yard Manager has handled all of our high end wood products for 31 years. Maria Psarianos our Accounts Receivable Dept. Manager has 20 years in at Holbrook. Mike Clough who manages our warehouse and heads the order fulfillment and loading department is 18 years on the job and David Scezny has been delivering products to our customers for over 14 years!
